The General Directorate of Natural Heritage and Biodiversity, in particular the Technical Unit of Wildlife is conducting a collaborative project with the foundation Biodiversity: Bird Study and Improvement of Procellariiformes in the Region of Murcia.
Within this project, including outreach to nearby cultural centers in the area of influence (the municipalities of Cartagena and Mazarrón).
One of these activities include an exhibition of eight panels deployable which includes information about these birds, their habitat, life cycle, etc.
The European storm petrel and shearwater are two species of birds within membership to this family who live in the city of Cartagena, on the islands of the Ants and Las Palomas and be seen in this exhibition.
The target date for the show to stay in the Centro Cultural Ramón Alonso Luzzy is from 16 until June 28, 2009.
