The Local Government Committee will meet on Friday, June 12, under the chairmanship of Mayor, Pilar Barreiro.
An ordinary session will be held at 9.30 am, with planned subsequent appearance of the government team spokesman, Joaquin Mowing at 10.30 in the press room of the Town Hall, to account for the issues addressed on the agenda.
Among them is the proposal of Councillor of the area of Social Care, Antonio Calderon, Cartagena City Council's approval to a new grant from the Autonomous Community of Murcia Region through the Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Immigration, the Municipal Institute of Social Services, to develop measures and extraordinary home care and recruitment of professionals to care for dependent persons in the municipality of Cartagena.
Also noteworthy was the proposal of Councillor of the area of Public Safety, Tourism, Youth and Trade, Javier Herrero, to amend the city ordinance of service regulation and control of parking on public roads, commonly known as time.
This change, according to the council, referred to formal issues, such as the list of streets covered parking that will appear hereafter in the ordinance and will be specified in the contract of service, or specifying that on Holy Saturday, and Saturday after Good Friday and Friday Carthaginians and Romans, there is no ORA.
