The growth in Cartagena UPyD since the last general election, going on number of votes from 1,100 to nearly 2,000 yesterday and obtained by tripling the percentage of votes (1.05% to 3.18%), confirms that more most citizens identify with the policy proposals of our party and consistency UPyD value.
These data have been placed as the third political force in the city, ahead of IU, and despite the strong abstention rate, estimated at 58%.
Moreover, these results were obtained by a modest campaign in terms of media, but with an intense street level of our members and supporters.
A campaign that began with a visit to Cartagena Rosa Díez made, and continue with street debates, informational tables and distributing over 10,000 copies of our newspaper or slapstick Alternative directly more than 10,000 ballots.
This encourages us to continue to ensure that our political project is known by more and more citizens.
