Local Development Agency and Employment has already begun the second phase Convigual, with the collaboration of the Fundación La Caixa and the Municipal Institute of Social Services through its Bureau of Immigration.
The project promotes gender equality, coexistence in diversity and values education, working with 15 immigrant women and designing itineraries individualized training and employment throughout the project to achieve full integration into the social and work.
This second phase of the project began on June 1 and ends on November 31, 2009.
The project aims to offer an alternative job placement for immigrant women from Cartagena, developing actions for guidance, training and business practices through individualized itineraries for training and job placement.
These pathways consist of
Course of geriatric care for elderly dependents, 220 hours, and to be held at the Federation of Neighbourhood Associations of Cartagena.
Individualized tutoring throughout the project
Placements, 120 hours (in nursing homes).
Additional training, 9 am (gender equality, combating discrimination, IT)
The ADLE work closely with the Municipal Institute of Social Services through its Bureau of Immigration, leading users to the project and taking follow-up of them.
Throughout the project the beneficiaries will receive a scholarship of EUR 6 per day of attendance to encourage their support to it.
Once the project is to be ensured that all beneficiaries are ready for integration into both the social and work world.
