The Mayor, Pilar Barreiro, delivered this morning in the Civil War refugees from the street Gisbert, prizes IV Photography Contest organized by the Tourist Consortium Cartagena Port of Cultures and in which there was a high level of participation Fans of Murcia, Alicante, Albacete, Madrid, Cadiz and Salamanca.
Specifically, it has delivered a first prize of 1,500 euros, a second prize of 800 euros and five second prizes of 500 euros each.
It has also inaugurated the exhibition of the winning works, which can be accessed from that same day.
Under the slogan stolen is looking for a story, the contest invited participants to reflect an image, the experiences of those who come to enjoy a historic city like Cartagena.
The aim was to capture an image that combined the special places in the city, through its sites and interpretive centers with the experiences of visitors and tourists.
A jury of professionals from various fields such as photography, tourism, culture and advertising, has been responsible for selecting and rewarding work:
