The mayor of Cartagena, Pilar Barreiro, accompanied by the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Pedro Alberto Cruz, and the president of the Nautical Mar Menor, Luis Cabello, presented this morning an activity to be held in the Cabo de Palos 10, 11 and 12 October to try to beat the world record for simultaneous immersion.
The goal is to break the Guinness World Record popular with scuba divers and simultaneous immersion in the same place, which currently holds the Maldives and 958 involving divers.
What is being prepared in Cabo de Palos is a concentration of divers nationally and internationally to try to reach the figure of 1,300, surpassing the current record and pursuit that lasts over time.
