Councillor for Culture, Rosario Montero, today presented awards to winners of photo contests and articles on Easter called for participatory encyclopedia Cartagena, CTpedia.
Montero Cartagena has encouraged to continue participating in such contests, which just celebrated its second year, and contribute their bit to form a database on the culture and traditions of the city.
As we remember the winners were in the category of photographs, Juan Antonio Molano Zaplana, with an image called hoods at night, and Antonio García Heredia, with a picture of San Pedro at Arsenal.
As items were Jimena Peña Natalia Ortiz, who wrote a full article on St. Peter the Apostle, and Sergio Martinez Ayala, who wrote about the Holy and Royal Group of Cristo de la Misericordia.
The first in each category have received from the Councillor a personal computer or computer equipment 600 euros, plus a diploma, the second, a digital camera or 300 euros in the data, also with a diploma.
Currently, the CTpedia, online encyclopedia sponsored by the city of Cartagena in order to build the largest encyclopedia ever written about the city of Cartagena and the surrounding area, over 400 users, a number that is growing.
