The Association of Environmental and Consumer Education (ADEAC) has given a new blue flag Cartagena, concretely to the beach Cavanna, based on criteria such as water quality, accessibility and respect for environmental legislation and coast between others.
Thus, the municipality of Cartagena have seven Blue Flag beaches, which are the Playa de Levante Cabo de Palos, Mar de Cristal and Islas Menores and Playa Honda Cala del Pino in the Mar Menor, Cala Cortina, and Cavanna beach, new membership, in La Manga.
Over the entire coast of Murcia, fifteen flags will be flown this summer, adding to the Cartagena seven other six beaches and two in Mazarron Aguilas.
