Local Development Agency and Employment of Cartagena on 28 May issued diplomas to fifteen students of draft-Convive Convigual equal, during the closing ceremony of the first phase of this project, developed in collaboration with the Foundation La Caixa and the Municipal Institute of Social Services, a ceremony will take place at 12, 45 hours in the ceremonial hall of the Town Hall in the presence of Councilman Job, Javier Herrero.
The objective of this project is to promote gender equality, coexistence in diversity and values education.
Specifically, the Convigual involves working with 30 women immigrants who were designing a schedule individualized training and employment for a year so they can be fully integrated into our social and professional context.
The project began in November last year and end on November 30 has been divided into two phases of six months and each of them 15 women participated.
The first phase of Convigual is what closes on Thursday, where each student will receive a certificate attesting to their training in the area in the care of dependent elderly and the certificate proving their practical training.
In particular, during the training process that has lasted 220 hours, the students have received special training in the care of dependent elderly, tutoring, permanent, additional training and, more importantly, were able to do internships in companies for 120 hours Virgen del Mar Homes,
Los Almendros, Hospital de La Caridad, Day Care Center of El Algar and Perín Country House Estate.
The second phase began June 1 and ends Nov. 30, hoping to repeat this experience has been very positive and students are prepared to integrate socially and occupationally.
In fact, the centers where they have completed the professional training have expressed interest in hiring some of the students.
