The second deputy mayor, José Vicente Albaladejo, received this morning the Chinese ambassador to Spain, Zhu Bangzao, who will participate this afternoon in the lecture Spain in the world, CajaMurcia Foundation and which will discuss the Diplomacy in China and relations between this country and Spain.
Zhu Bangzao visited the Palace Hall and signed in the Book of Golden City.
As Chinese Ambassador has said, bilateral relations between Spain and China are now experiencing the best of times.
In 2008, trade between the two countries touched U.S. $ 26,000 million, which is expected to increase to 40,000 million for 2011.
According to Zhu Bangzao, the Region of Murcia has much commercial potential.
We hope that the role of this region in trade between the two countries is becoming increasingly important, said Chinese Ambassador, and cited sectors such as renewable energy and agricultural technology to strengthen these relationships.
For the Chinese ambassador, interregional trade between Chinese provinces and the Spanish autonomous communities should be encouraged for better cooperation between the two countries.
Moreover, since questions from reporters, Bangzao indicated that, with regard to policy making in your country, China now advocates a policy austere and dynamic in dealing with adoptions.
