The Governing Council authorized the signing of an agreement between the Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Immigration and the city of Cartagena, which he will receive 123,000 Euros for the reception of women victims of gender violence and to implement programs to promote equality of opportunity.
This foster care to victims of domestic violence, which is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, is endowed with 48,000 euros.
Its purpose is to temporarily house and meet the needs of women victims of domestic violence and children in their care, as well as providing comprehensive care.
In the framework of programs of equal opportunities between men and women, with 75,000 euro budget will be activities that promote participation, partnership and integration of rural women and other social and cultural rights as discussion forums and meetings.
