Cartagena will become the epicenter of sports and training during the first days of June, with the holding of the Sixth International Congress of Football 'Cartagena Port of Cultures "and the XVI National Conference Football Coaches' Committee of Football Federation the Region of Murcia, on the one hand, and the International Soccer Tournament VII Alevín F-7, on the other.
This year, the Sixth International Congress XVI Soccer and the National Coaching Conference are united under the slogan 'From the present into the future' and organized for the purpose of improving the quality of professionals and amateurs from a vocation training, social and competitive.
Thus, as noted by the Councillor for Sports, will address the present and future of football from different points of view, referees, media, coaches, players and sports officials, among others.
To do this, they have organized panel discussions involving leading figures in the national football scene, and Joan Laporta, president of FC Barcelona, Juande Ramos, head coach of Real Madrid CF and Tomás Guasch, assistant editor and commentator AS Cadena Ser , among many other professional football.
These Sessions will be held on 5 and 6 June in the classrooms of the Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena.
Whoever is interested can register with a fee of 40 euros, which will entitle a certificate of attendance of 20 hours.
There will be special discounts for students of the organizing universities (UPCT, UMU and UCAM), as well as collegiate coaches and football clubs based in the Region of Murcia, among others.
The organization expects to maintain or exceed the figure of 500 recorded in previous editions.
Also, on 6 and 7 June will be held on International Soccer Tournament VII Alevín F-7 'Cartagena Port of Cultures "will feature teams from the major national and international geography: FC Barcelona, Villarreal CF, Real Betis Balompié, Charlton Athletics, EF AFE Madrid CF Elche, Murcia Selection and Selection of Cartagena.
This tournament will be held at the sports complex of La Manga Club (Saturday 6) and Cartagonova Municipal Stadium (Sunday 7).
For this edition, has opted for quality of equipment from 32 sets in previous years, eight teams in this seventh edition.
Entry to this tournament is free but providing a united euro in aid of UNICEF for each day of participation.
It is that solidarity will have a special niche in these two celebrations.
Thus, there will be a photo exhibition on Sport for Development and UNICEF, whose opening will be June 1, at 13 am at the cultural center Luzzy Ramón Alonso.
1 to 4 June, the exhibition at the cultural center, while 5 and 6 June, moved to the area next to the auditorium of the UPCT, venue of the Congress.
Also, the 50th anniversary of the newspaper La Verdad de Cartagena, will be held on June 4 at 20 hours, a panel discussion entitled '50 years of quarry at Ephesus', which discussed issues related to past history, present and future of grassroots football in Cartagena, with guests related to this subject.
This meeting will be in the Hall of Degrees of UPCT (1 st floor adjacent to the auditorium of the University).
In presenting the council Alonso Gómez has been accompanied by the chairman of the Coaches FFRM, Fernando Vidal, the coordinator of the Sports of the UPCT, Ricardo Ibáñez, Gregorio marble representing the newspaper La Verdad in Cartagena, other representatives the UMU and the UCAM, and technicians to the Department of Sports.
