The Local Government Committee will meet on Friday, May 15, under the chairmanship of Mayor, Pilar Barreiro.
The regular meeting was held in character 14 hours in the council room of the Town Hall.
Among the various items on the agenda is the temporary hiring of personnel for surveillance and rescue on the beaches in 2009, and establishment of a job.
Also consider the proposal of Councillor for Infrastructure, José Vicente Albaladejo, for approval of an agreement with the Ministry of Public Works and Planning for the construction of roundabouts at the Plaza Hotel Cavanna and suitability of sidewalks and gardens in Greater Via de La Manga, and other employment on the project for better management of public gardens in Cartagena, and grant application to the Regional Employment Service and Training (SEF).
