The Minister of Education, Training and Employment, Sotoca Constantine, presented at the Cartagena Chamber of Commerce CD-ROM guide to help self-employed and SMEs in the design of safe work spaces and to encourage regular self workplaces.
The counselor ahead, too, that his department is completing the first tab on the rights and obligations informative self-employed workers in the prevention of occupational hazards, which can be accessed through the Institute's web www.carm.es / ISSL.
He also stated that "the main objective is to provide self-fulfilling their obligations, since this group is the subject of specific actions in the Fourth Plan for the Prevention of Occupational Risks."
As for the CD-ROM guide, Sotoca said, "was created to help spread the culture of prevention among the agents of the business Murcia and promote integration in corporate governance policies of prevention."
The document compiles all the necessary information for businesses and self-launch preventive measures to fully ensure the safety and health facilities, and directs both the knowledge workers of their obligations as the selection of equipment and measures to be taken to safety.
Among the information that is available in the guide include prevention regulations in force, the obligations of companies and freelancers in preventive guidance detailing guides and equipment shown in images appropriate to each case to avoid risk, and test that enables companies and freelancers regularly check their level of compliance in prevention.
The publication of the CD-ROM guide is part of the actions envisaged in the Fourth Plan for Prevention, and more specifically between the advisory activities directed to microenterprises and self-employed to facilitate access to safe working conditions.
