The Cartagena contest organized by the Youth Council of Cartagena and the Conservatory of Music in Cartagena, with the support of the General Directorates of Culture and Promotion of Academic Planning of the Autonomous Community of Murcia distinguishes the most promising young performers the region.
The closing ceremony will begin with the interpretation of one of the awardees of the previous edition, the soloist Raquel Díaz Dodge, who will play a Telemann work accompanied by the Cartagena Chamber Orchestra by director Brian George Webber.
Then proceed to the award of this twelfth edition, where the expected decision of the judges put the locking clip for the winners of the arrangements of guitar, strings, percussion, woodwinds, brass, piano and singing.
In total 14 awards were distributed, reaching the amount of 7,000 euros, with the ability to play well - each of the first prizes, in a series of concerts with the Chamber Orchestra of Cartagena.
The closing ceremony will close with the Orchestra of the Conservatory of Music in Cartagena now run by Andres Perez Barnabas.
Admission is free, first-served basis.
