More than fifty more will make a new hiking trail on Friday, May 8, with the rise of the Atalaya Castle, thanks to the TAS (Active Tourism and Health), conducted by the Department of Social Care Town Hall Cartagena.
Seniors who are enrolled in the new walking trail will gather at 9.15 hours in the morning with the Institute Jiménez de la Espada.
This performance will feature two socio-cultural animators and a volunteer major municipal program, attending at all times to the participants in this fun and healthy day.
TAS Program aims to promote the output of the normal environment of the elderly, creating meeting places to facilitate personal and group relations.
As with other groups in the region, the elders have made several gear hiking during the months of January, February and March, with routes such as the Mirador del Roldán, Batteries Fajardo Lighthouse Christmas and Cala Reona Calblanque.
This program is complemented by healthy travel and cultural content for areas of interest in Spain in order to meet the artistic and cultural heritage of different places.
Thanks to him, have already visited the highland areas of Granada, as Negretín Baza and Reservoir and the towns of Aguilas and Valencia.
The next trip will be made to the cities of Fortuna, Cieza, Costa del Sol and Camino de Santiago.
