The Ministry of Universities, Business and Research, through the Instituto de Fomento Region de Murcia (info), celebrated on May 14 at the esplanade of the Port of Cartagena the fourth edition of Day of the Entrepreneur.
On this occasion, the day has 35 activities and 50 items of information to promote self-employment and entrepreneurial culture among young students of vocational training, college, unemployed and employers.
Info director, Juan José Beltrán, today in Cartagena schedule of activities designed for the Entrepreneur's Day 2009 that "reflect the strategy of the Ministry and its bodies to achieve the objective of encouraging and supporting entrepreneurs to creation of new businesses and support those who have already done so to strengthen their initiatives. Under the theme 'Vision entrepreneurial business opportunity', organized in Cartagena activities will focus on innovation as the engine of the knowledge economy.
In addition, the opportunity is used to mark the 'European Year of Creativity' with different specific activities on this subject.
Beltran explained that this year's Day of the Entrepreneur is structured in four parts: exhibition area; program of seminars, plenary sessions and workshops, activities that must be involved from the audience, and a play area.
In the exhibition area, 50 institutions and agencies working with entrepreneurs provide information and advice on what to do to convert the business plan a reality.
The program also includes lectures and plenary sessions led by outstanding entrepreneurs and how prestigious will have achieved success in business and the attendees can meet and discuss your project.
Entrepreneur Day also launches several workshops as a forum in which to practice skills, in which experts on ways to engage and share experiences directed interest to the attendees of a flexible and participatory.
'Elevator Speech'
One of the latest and most attractive is the activity called 'Elevator Speech', in which participants learn to recognize their potential clients and explain, clearly and concisely, who they are, what they do and what value they provide differential.
All this in a creative discourse of only 50 words.
