Councillor for Education Josefa Maroto this morning a new edition of summer activities that are planned from its council for the month of July.
Thus become, once again, the Summer Schools, Musical Colonies and Traffic School for children and youth from 4 to 16 years, more than 800 seats in total for the smallest house to enjoy the school break activities and educational workshops and entertainment.
The deadline to register for any of the three programs will start on 11th May to 30th of the month, through www.cartagena.es website, in person at the SKIP or at the Department of Education (Administration Building, Sister Francisca Armendariz).
Once accepted, the deadline to register and make payment of fees will be 20 June, with the publication of the final list of accepted and rejected on 24 June.
SUMMER SCHOOL
Aimed at children 5-12 years, the Summer Schools will take place from 1 to 31 July, Monday to Friday and from 9 to 14 hours.
There will be a total of 514 places and activities are conducted in fifteen schools in the municipality: Mastia, La Concepción, Four Saints, San Francisco Javier, Hannibal, Beethoven, Gabriela Mistral, San Cristóbal, José María Lapuerta, Cartagho, Azorín, San Isidoro (El Algar), Santa Florentina (La Palma), San Fulgencio (Pozo Estrecho) and San Ginés de la Jara (the Straits).
This year, recreational and educational activities will focus on workshops, toys, English, crafts, sports ...
all set on a journey through history under the heading 'The Time Machine' as its centerpiece.
The share in these Summer Schools is 65 euros plus 20 euros if the child participates in the optional workshop from 8 to 9 hours.
MUSIC CAMPS
Musical Colonies, meanwhile, will be held from 1 to 15 July, 9-13 pm Monday through Friday, with the possibility of an optional workshop theater from 13 to 14 hours.
Are aimed at children aged 4 to 12 years and activities will take place in the CEIP 'Garden City' and 'San Isidro and Santa Florentina. "
The participation fee for these Colonies Music is 75 euros and there will be a total of 150 seats.
Traffic School
Driver education activities are aimed at children and adolescents from 9 to 16, with card rider.
The number of places is limited, but it is estimated that about 200 children through this school during the month of July.
The school will be based in the Park Driver Education (Ángel Bruna street) and the activities will take place from 10 to 12 hours.
Registration is free.
