Around 560,000 euros is investing the City of Cartagena in improving gardens and green areas of the trough, Las Lomas and El Algar, through projects of Plan E State Investment Fund.
The works are running on each of the areas for weeks.
In the case of the valley and Las Lomas tasks include the creation of flower beds and paths within the existing green areas, planting of trees and the provision of furniture and playground.
The performance was completed with the project funded by the Employment and Training Service (SEF), through which unemployed install the drip irrigation system.
Once these actions undertaken the council's Parks and Gardens maintenance plans to include in the contracts to Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas.
Investing in The Trough is around 231,000 euros and Las Lomas, 230,000.
In the case of El Algar action, amounting to 100,000 euros is consisting mainly in the planting of trees and other species in the squares and green areas newly created village, which is also providing drip irrigation.
