The Rector of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT), Felix Faure, visited the headquarters of the Honourable Mayor.

Under the protocol signed between the City of La Union and the Technical University of Cartagena, have touched on aspects of interest such as the recent Master Plan for the Sierra Minera, developed by researchers at the UPCT, and the forthcoming conclusion of a Aula del Mar during the next summer in La Union.
The Mayor of La Union, Francisco Bernabé, stressed the "great spirit of collaboration that the City of La Union and the Technical University of Cartagena," which will lead to "future actions that benefit both institutions."
