The Cultural Center Luzzy Ramón Alonso has now become part of celebration of the First Day of Women's Associations in the Region of Murcia, in which participation of approximately 200 women and aimed to exchange experiences and reflect on the role of women in society.
One of the conclusions reached is that the association of women in the region, as a social movement, has grown in recent years, currently there are 400 associations, "noting the relief that is producing new generations young women who take the baton in the promotion of equal opportunities.
In this conference, which opened the Councillor for Women, Rosario Montero, accompanied by the director of the Institute of Women of the Region of Murcia, Teresa Moreno, and María Dolores Alcaraz, president of the Federation of Associations of Women Mediterranean associations have participated from Lorca, Tower Cotillas, Abanilla, Santomera, Ceuta and Murcia, as well as those belonging to the municipality of Cartagena.
Rosario Montero has excelled in this activity, the presentation of two Italian technicians around the actions carried out in the country relating to the field of women's associations, which seems to have many similarities with ours.
