Continuing with the schedule of visits and meetings with major social and political actors in the region, Mayor Pilar Barreiro, along with three former mayors of the democratic era Juan Martínez Simón, Antonio Vallejo and Jose Antonio Alonso, presented this morning General Secretary of the PSOE in the Region of Murcia, Pedro Saura, Fundación Ciudad de Cartagena, as they did in days past president of the Community, Ramón Luis Valcárcel.
At this meeting, which took place at the Palace Hall, Saura have explained the fundamental objectives of the Foundation, seeking to project the image of Cartagena to the outside, on the one hand, and improve governance, the proximity of the administrations citizens and the use of new technologies, on the other.
Remember that the Foundation has offered to Ramón Luis Valcárcel the chairmanship of the Advisory Board of this organization, while the honorary chairmanship corresponds to that was for years head of the Royal Family, Sabino Fernández Campo.
