The XII Competition for young classical music performers of the Region of Murcia 'Between Strings and Metals' arrives on Tuesday, April 21, at the end of the woodwind mode, in which nine finalists will vie for the prize from than 19.00 pm in the Auditorium of the Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Cartagena.
Participants in this second phase are: Joaquin Antonio Grau Sáez, Isabel López Encarna Castejon, Itziar Marhuenda Portuguese, Juan Manuel Martínez Lidón, Ñíguez Antonio Grau, Alejandro Ortuño Gelardo, Alejandro Zamora Gumbao, Enrique Aguilar Torres, and Bernardo Alcala Tello.
The young musicians will have to interpret at this time a work not to exceed 15 minutes, also admitted movements or individual parts of a single piece.
The jury, composed of specialists from the various academies and learning centers throughout the region of Murcia, such as: Ana María Alcaraz Segura, Asensio Sánchez Martínez, Antonio Campuzano Palazón, Paula Orton Puchol, Jaime Sanchez Laffage, easy to have nothing deliberation given the extraordinary artistic quality of the participants.
The jury's final decision will be announced at the closing of this contest, which will take place May 8 at the Auditorium of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena at 8:00 p.m., where they receive their awards.
In the closing ceremony shall also the distribution of diplomas to all participants who have reached the Final.
Similarly, they provide a certificate of participation established by the Department of Youth and Music Conservatory of Cartagena to those who request it.
Remember that rewards those who choose the semifinalists are: a first prize of 700 euros and a second $ 300.
