The rector of the UPCT, Felix Faure, and Angel Martinez, president of the Caja Mediterráneo Territorial Council, and Ildefonso Riquelme, regional director of the institution in Murcia, this morning signed an extension of the collaboration agreement that kept the two institutions since 2001.
The terms of the agreement establishing from the outset of the UPCT mutual collaboration and Caja Mediterráneo, in relation to activities of cooperation to benefit the entire student population studying in the UPCT, as well as faculty and administrative staff and services UPCT.
The agreement also requires the collaboration of Caja Mediterráneo in the provision of aid for excellence scholarships and grants UPCT UPCT / CAM, as well as support for activities such as TelecoForum or course of "Design, automation and control risks and greenhouses. "
Excellence grants are to support those new students at the University demonstrating excellent academic results, and are equipped with two thousand euros expandable up to four thousand euros for each child beneficiary.
Scholarships UPCT / CAM study aid granted to those students who meet the economic requirements of calls from the Ministry of Education, have not been beneficiaries of them.
The amount of aid is the equivalent to the costs incurred by the tuition of one academic year.
