The Councillor for Youth of the City of Cartagena, Javier Herrero, and President of Youth Council, Manuel Soler, today presented the X edition of the Youth Association of Cartagena, a pioneer of such fairs in the region, will be held from 17 to 19 April in the forecourt of the port.

A must for youth associations in the city, Javier Herrero has emerged as the objectives of this event to bring youth associations and other groups in society, to publicize the activities of the 69 participating institutions and promote the exchange of ideas and mutual understanding between those entities.

In total, youth groups have proposed 150 activities, of which 30 will be ongoing throughout the fair.

53 stands will be installed (3 by 2 meters) and three tents dedicated to the Alternative Recreation Program T-LA, Ideas (with the activities organized by the Department of Secondary Education) and scout groups.

Among the booths there will be some dedicated to institutional representation, as the Department of Youth, Education and Culture, the Institute for Youth in the Region of Murcia, the UPCT and Youth Council.

Annex to the fair and for the second consecutive year, placed the Youth Market in the Plaza de los Héroes de Cavite, for which 52 applications were received, ten more than the previous year, with jobs that offer self-made crafts and second-hand items.

In addition, coinciding also with the Fair, the Sexuality Information Counseling Youth Space's Youth Department, announces the Erotic Stories Regional Competition, the only of its kind in the region, which integrate them suggested that affective commitment sexual behavior of individuals.

For this competition will be two age categories of 14 to 19 years and 20 to 30 years with the same cash prize for the winner, which is a cash prize of 500 euros.

In this vein, the organization intends to celebrate 10 years of competition editing a book with all the winning stories will be presented at the Fair next year's Youth Associations.

The official opening of the Youth Fair will be held on Friday, April 17, at 11:00 hours, and throughout the morning visits will be conducted in coordination with the Secondary Education Centres of the municipality, which will be developed A special program of activities.
