Councillor for Education, Josefa Maroto, along with the director of the Museum of Science and Water, Maribel Parra Lledó, and the director of the Institute for Women in the Region of Murcia, Teresa Moreno, inaugurated tomorrow, Wednesday April 15 exposure 'Women Mathematics', owned by the Museum of Science and Water, and organized in Cartagena by the Department of Education and Culture.
The exhibition 'Women mathematics' consists of three parts: a series of panels which exposed the lives of 14 women mathematicians, from the sixth century BC to the present day, with the main difficulties encountered and the contributions they made to the world science, an area that includes 12 math games, and a last part in which four women mathematicians challenge the visitor to follow clues to solve a number of activities as the only help.
The exhibition will open at 12 pm and will be exposed on the ground floor of the cultural center Ramón Alonso Luzzy until 27 May.
Visiting hours are from 10 to 13.30 and from 17.30 to 20 hours, Monday through Friday.
