The XXIX edition of the Sports Awards Cartagenero will fail tonight.
The winners of each of the ten awards given annually by the council of Sports City of Cartagena, in collaboration with the city's sports journalists will be announced after the jury meeting, scheduled at 20.30 hours in the trophy room Cartagonova Stadium.
These awards will honor and recognize athletes, associations and other entities that have stood out for its support or promotion of physical activity and sport in 2008.
The awards are for Best Sports Sponsor, the National Category Best Club, Best Club and Sports Association Base, Best Male Athlete, Best Female Athlete, Best Teaching Center, Best Sporting Event, Best Defender of the Fair Play Campaign, Best Association Neighbors and Sports Authority Sportsman or Revelation.
The call is open, with the indispensable condition for being registered in Cartagena or residing in the city for at least five years.
The proposals could be submitted until March 5 at the headquarters of the Municipal Sports, ending term.
