The Local Government Committee met this morning in regular session in the Board of Aldermen of the Town Hall and among other matters on the agenda has taken account of the amendment and consolidation of that body's agreement on delegation of powers in the Area Councillor, council CEO and as a result of the output of the Government of Councilman Enrique Pérez Abellán.
Thus, the two areas are modified Government Infrastructure, Transport, Works, Services and Projects, headed by the area councilor, José Vicente Albaladejo, and the Government Department of Public Safety, Public Roads, Tourism, Trade, Youth and Employment, headed by the area councilor Javier Herrero Register.
The remaining areas (Deputy Mayor, Planning and Sustainable Development, Finance, Personnel, General Conditions and Contract, Culture, Celebration, Women's Archaeological Heritage, Decentralization and Health, Social Care) remain as they were distributed.
In the Government Department of Infrastructure includes works materials and inter-urban road system, roads and rural roads and water supply services, sewerage, cleaning of septic tanks, treatment and wastewater treatment, transportation, parks and gardens, street lighting, street cleaning, collection, treatment and disposal of solid waste, municipal fleet, communications and capital adequacy.

For its part, the Department of Public Safety, Public Roads, Tourism, Trade, Youth and Employment is responsible for matters of civil protection, fire service, municipal police, traffic and road safety, road use and land public use, sale, standing outside the business premises, outdoor advertising, begging and public safety, public entertainment and recreation, equipment and furniture, tourism, trade, youth and employment.
