The Palace Hall on Thursday welcomed the launch of the book "Thirty-three Hearts', written by José Luis Carralero and Jorge Espin, who over nearly 400 pages gives an overview of the more than 300 years of history Illustrious Confraternity of the Holy Christ and Real Relief.
The presentation was given by the official historian of Cartagena, José Monerri, and also included the presence of the Councillor for Culture of the City of Cartagena, Rosario Montero, who works in book publishing, serving the city archives as a source who have contributed data to the work and its authors, who signed copies at the end of the large audience.
Thirty-three Hearts claimed a historical memory that was to be lost, going back to the first two seasons of the Brotherhood (1691-1821/1879-1936), completing the journey to the most recent stage with special reference to the figure of Brother Mayor Juan Jorquera del Valle.
The book, complete with pictures, sketches and photographs of this whole journey, and is available in bookstores at a price of 25 euros.
