The eighth edition of the festival Removals, Encounters with the New Dance comes to an end.
The festival closes on Saturday March 28 with two street performances and a room.
The Valencian company Titoyaya Gustavo Ramirez, Baking a show based on the principle of action-reaction, at 13:15 pm in Heroes of Cavite and the Catalan company Brodas urban dance at 20:00 pm in Town Hall Square will be responsible for animating the streets of the port city on the day of departure.
Already in the Nuevo Teatro Circo will be the turn of the German company Toula Limnaios end the eighth edition of the Reading festival with Tosca.
With an impressive performance that moves between worlds, transporting the viewer into a magical space between imagination and reality.
Dance music, video and light as resources show a vision of the opera Tosca by Puccini.
The festival will end at 22:00 pm, and tickets to 6 euros.
Reading the piece unfolds Tosca, from a clear understanding, to a hidden line that reaches the depths of the heart.
It is not a melodrama, is a search sensitivities as restlessness, anger, passion, love, obsession, intrigue, manipulation, abuse of power and betrayal.
These hidden dimensions are, however subliminally present at all times.
This story could be repeated over time, today, tomorrow, always.
Reading Tosca is what you hear, you dream, feel and projected.
The boundaries of the body, space and time disappear, among the thousands of moments lived, but the gap is always vis a vis.
Toula Limnaios choreographer born in 1963 in Athens / Greece, studied classical and modern dance, plus music and dance pedagogy in Brussels.
He worked as an interpreter with Claudio Bernardo, Régine Chopinot and assistant with Pierre Droulers.
Later he continued his studies at the Folkwang Hochschule in Essen Folkwang Tanzstudio and integrated under the artistic direction of Pina Bausch.
In 1996 he founded with composer Ralf R.
Limnaios cie.toula Ollertz company in Brussels, which in 1997 moved its headquarters to Berlin.
His repertoire now includes thirteen works and productions that provide different forms from one to the quintet, which have been filed in Belgium, France, Italy, Poland, Switzerland and Spain.
For his part, Gustavo Ramírez creates Titoyaya project in February 2006 as having belonged to interpret most prestigious dance companies both nationally and internationally: Ballet de Victor Ullate (Madrid), Nederlands Dans Theater (Netherlands) and Hubbard Street Dance Company (Chicago).
During these years Gustavo combines his work as a freelance choreographer of international work as a director, choreographer and performer in the project Titoyaya.
