To mark the year that celebrates sports culture in the Public School Beethoven Cartagena, the sports council, Alonso Gómez, the Councillor for Education, Josefa Maroto, and school director, Magdalena Conesa, inaugurated on Thursday a historical exhibition on sport in school and district of Cartagena.
To this we must add a male and female sports tournament in the ways of football, basketball and various sports games played with other schools invited, as the CP and CP Azorín San Antonio Abad.
Then gave a brief talk about the benefits of school sport and its application in the education of students, later inviting students to make a healthy breakfast, to conclude with the awarding of medals and trophies for all participants.
The next week, will conclude the events with a series of lectures to students, where they assist each other, the Paralympic athlete Lidia Banos, who will teach the young to lead a healthy lifestyle through sports.
This event is organized by CP Beethoven and has enjoyed the cooperation of the Department of Sports and Education of the City of Cartagena and the Association of Parents of the Centre.
