Security Park Cartagena hosts during the day today a training course for local police, focusing on the practical application of the criminal code amendment relating to road safety.
Among its objectives is to inform staff of policy changes that have occurred recently in terms of traffic, and the highlights in this field of penal reform.
The recipients are local police of the Region of Murcia as well as members of the Security Forces of the State.
The course is organized by Directorate General of Local Government of the Autonomous Region in collaboration with the general direction of the City of Cartagena Security.
The various talks and panel discussions have been going from half past nine and have been attended including provincial traffic chief, Francisco Jimenez, who spoke on the new Road Safety Strategic Plan, along with judges and Prosecutors, who have addressed the legal aspect of the reform, and commanders of the Civil Guard Traffic and Local Police, who have explained their practical application.
