The parade and wreath back to the Virgin of Charity, held on 3 April, Good Friday, will this year with the participation of 45 groups, including trumpets and drums bands, associations and groups, who will attend Charity Church wearing the traditional costume of Cartagena.
This year, in addition, there are significant developments for the celebration of this day, as irrespective of the parade, floral tributes may be made throughout the day either individually or in groups, going to the door of the Temple and from our Patron morning until evening.
During the day there will be classical music to the church and an exhibition of painting outdoors.
The participation of these associations is that the composition of the parade is about 2,000 people and numerous musical groups from Rondallas, Choirs and Dance groups, bands and Drum and Bugle Bands.
The parade made its concentration in the Town Hall Square at 16:30 to start at 17:15 through the streets Mayor, Puerta de Murcia, Sagasta, Tolosa Latour, Carmen, Santa Florentina, Park, Plaza de López Pinto, Serreta e Iglesia de la Caridad, which shall be deposited with the countless bouquets and baskets of flowers that will flood the altar and the Church of Charity as a token of affection and fervor of Cartagena to his patron and to our traditions and cultural values.
People not part of groups that wish to participate in the parade may do so in this group authorized by the Department of Celebration, which closes the parade group.
