Councilman Job, Javier Herrero, defended the work of the City address the current economic crisis which affects the unemployment, with more than 9,000 direct actions aimed at training for the unemployed and students to facilitate their access to labor market mainly in the trades most in demand by companies.
This was the response of the council against the motion filed today in full by the socialist municipal group, which requested the establishment of the Social Council of Cartagena for the development of a Local Employment Pact in the city, establishing proposals and strategies joint response to the crisis.
The urgency of the motion has been rejected because, according to Smith, and although not local but regional competition, the City Council we have continued to promote actions to end the strike, not only in terms of training, but also other initiatives such as the recent presentation of Women's Business Incubator, or a project that will be released soon based on businesses and employment portal.
Employment Councilman also emphasized the importance of the tourism sector, which also has local support, as highlighted in the recently concluded Congress COEC.
