In this regard, the Plan on March 12 released the report without fear of Learning, a worldwide pioneering research that analyzes all types of violence that occur in classrooms and posed formulas to end it.

School violence increases the rates of poverty and a major obstacle to achieving the Millennium Development Goals, especially with regard to achieving universal primary education (No. 2) and gender equality among the sexes (No. 3) .

Learn Without Fear report addresses the three areas where violence occurs in the classroom: sexual harassment (abuse and rape in exchange for privileges and good grades), corporal punishment (hitting, kicking and humiliation of teachers to students) and bullying ( bullying).

Girls are more likely to be victims of sexual violence, while boys are more affected by corporal punishment.
