The Area Housing Counseling Youth the Youth Council of the City of Cartagena has launched an information campaign on subsidies under the Special Plan Housing Rehabilitation Autonomous Community aid may request any person or condominium carry out an rehabilitation work throughout 2009.
The application period ends on 25 March and the economic value can reach 24,000 euros.
Also supports up to 85 percent of the cost of writing project in case of need, with a maximum of 1,200 euros.
Actions supported may be of three types: to improve the accessibility of the building (installation of lifts, installation of ramps, work adaptation of housing to the needs of disabled people over 65 years) to ensure the safety of buildings of more than ten years (according to facades, beams, structures), or energy efficiency improvements, hygiene, health and environmental protection, such as installing solar panels and energy-efficient systems or water saving devices.
