The Youth Council of the City of Cartagena has announced the second edition of Brain of Europe?, Adding to the celebration of the events organized by the European Commission and the Member States on the occasion of International Day of Europe, next May 9.
The competition offers students and students of the Institutes of Secondary Education Cartagena performing a job, with the help of a teacher in charge, is reflected in their knowledge of Europe.
Will be two first prizes, one for first cycle of ESO and one for second cycle, consisting of a trip to Valencia, as well as materials for the center and shirts for all participants.
The purpose of this competition is, first, to get young people to feel closer and solidarity in the European context in which they coexist and, moreover, the students and teachers aware of the importance of integrating the European dimension in Education.
In addition and concurrently with the execution of the work, the center will receive the visit of young European volunteers from Germany, Hungary, Turkey and Uruguay, who will provide an up-close and direct their countries of origin, as well as ideas for their work .
The deadline to register for the contest ends on March 25, applications may be collected through both correspondents of each IES Youth, Youth Resource Centre, or downloaded from the website of the Department of Youth: www.cartagena. en / youth.
