Monday has begun the first edition of Editor of scaffolding courses organized by the Agency of Local Development and Employment, in collaboration with the entity Tyssenkrupp Xervon.
The selection of students was held last March 6, attending a total of 96 interested persons, of which the company selected a total of 15 students by conducting a test of skills.
The course will last for 220 hours, of which 104 will be theoretical, 100 practices and 16 aimed at assessing knowledge, and developed the company's facilities and ADLE.
The training content of the course are:
Organization of work.
Preparation, erection and removal of scaffolding tubes.
Driving self-propelled trucks and auxiliary equipment handling lifting.
Prevention of occupational hazards, basic level.
First aid and basic module to work in petrochemical industry.
After this first edition will start the second, before the summer, another group of 15 students.
Upon completion of the courses the company is committed to hiring at least 60 percent of students who successfully complete the course.
