Workshop School 'Hostel', which launched the Local Development Agency and Employment of the Employment Department of the City of Cartagena on 29 December, has completed its first two months of operation 45 students by training workers who are acquiring knowledge in various trades.
The hostel has four specialties, including wood joinery (nine students), plumbing and electrical facilities (nine students), Jewelry (nine students) and Masonry I and II (eighteen student-workers) and workshops will finish on 28 December 2010.
For these two years with a budget of around EUR 1,400,000 to be financed by the SEF, the European Social Fund and the city of Cartagena.
The objective is the theoretical and practical training of students, workers and the building of hostel services Quarry.
During the first six months of the project, students receive a scholarship and was later hired by the ADLE, for a period of 18 months.
