The Mayor, Pilar Barreiro, has transmitted to the council to make his administration the need to adopt measures to alleviate the current economic crisis, the main consequence being the worrying rise in unemployment, measures that must be reflected in budgets city for this year.

Barreiro pointed out that, after the containment measures that were presented earlier this year, the government team will prepare a plan of active measures - some of them are already underway - in which the various municipal services must be coordinated to meet a situation is indeed alarming, as the mayor has been defined.

These measures are aimed not only to social care but also to finance, with the aid tax, employment promotion, training ...

We now have the opportunity to make a budget designed for a situation like the current crisis, said Barreiro, as had been developed for this year were parked for the implementation of the Plan.
