Carmen Hernández Lorca architect Arcas, the emergency center in the region of Murcia 1-1-2 and the Association of Brethren of Cartagena Women were honored this year with the 'Awards March 8, "which calls the Ministry of Social Policy , Women and Immigration through the Institute of Women of the Region of Murcia.
The award given to Carmen Hernandez Arcas recognizes his career as a professional in the world of architecture.
Fruits of their labor, and in collaboration with Angelo Roventa, last year won first prize in the Biennial of Bucharest by the original design of a building that houses a theater.
The design is also nominated for the Mies Van der Rohe Award 2009, one of Europe's most important awards today in contemporary architecture.
It has also been honored in this issue 1-1-2 Emergency Center in the Region of Murcia for the work you do in caring for victims of domestic violence through the emergency telephone.
For its part, the Association of Women Brethren of Cartagena has received the Special Mention Award for being the only institution of women colleagues of the Region of Murcia and its promotion in favor of similar associations from the rest of Spain.
The awards ceremony will take place next Sunday in a ceremony chaired by the Minister of Social Policy, Women and Migration, Joaquín Bascuñana, in the Auditorium and Congress Center "Victor Villegas" de Murcia.
It is expected that over 1,500 people attend the ceremony for these awards, in which the director of the Institute of Women of the Region of Murcia, Teresa Moreno, read the manifesto of March 8.
The day will conclude with the staging of 'Daughters of the Dawn', by the Spanish Ballet of Murcia.
