To celebrate in 2009 the International Year of Astronomy, the Department of Culture of the City of Cartagena, through the People's University, has organized an astronomy course, touts and disseminates workshop and astronomical knowledge helps to know the universe around us.

This activity has been planned with the aim of promoting a special fondness for astronomy, which in turn is related to all fields of science.

Wednesday classes begin this course in the premises of the UP in the Ramón Alonso Luzzy Cultural Center, at 19.00 hours, taught by Juan Pedro Gomez and Juan Ortega.
