The charity gala ballroom 'Memorial Mari Mulas Cartagena City' will be held on Saturday, March 21, beginning at 18 am at the Municipal Sports Pavilion.
This year, the revenue will go to the Alzheimer's Association and District of Cartagena.
The event was presented this morning by Council of Sports, Alonso Gómez, and Celebrations, Florentina Garcia Vargas, and the president of the Alzheimer's Association of Cartagena, Antonio López Rodríguez, and the president of the Association of Dance Hall, Mary José Martínez Cendra.
The gala will feature about 150 dancers from Spain and other European countries.
What I do promise this gala is a quality show because, as said Maria Jose Martinez, the majority of participants are winners of some of the national and international championships.
Among them, there are two pairs of dancers from Cartagena to leave the bar very high.
They are a couple of children 8 years and have won five European trophies in all forms of dance, and another pair of brothers, 13 and 15 who are runners-up Spain in waltz, tango and paso doble and belong to Dance School 'Bailamos' of Cartagena.
That same Saturday morning workshops will be hip hop and belly dance in which those involved may submit their entry or through the donation of 10 euros.
Admission is five dollars and can be purchased on the premises of the school of dance 'Bailamos', at the headquarters of the Alzheimer's Association and District of Cartagena and the municipal sports stadium for the days before the gala.
Attendees will enjoy over two hours of the best ballroom dance in all forms: waltz, tango, paso dobles, cha cha, choreography ...
Last year revenue amounted to € 5,000 and was assigned to the Parkinson Association.
For this edition is expected to at least maintain this amount.
The president of the Alzheimer's Association, Antonio Lopez, has been grateful to be the objective of this act of solidarity.
