The next Thursday, March 5, the Nature Workshop People's University of Cartagena, in collaboration with Ministry of Agriculture and Water in the Region of Murcia and the Association of Southeastern Naturalist (ANSE) has organized the lecture "Pardelas and Pain in the islands off the coast of Murcia, which will be held from 20:00 in the premises of the People's University Cultural Center Luzzy Ramón Alonso.
The workshop will focus on the presence and nesting seabirds, especially the Cory's Shearwater and European storm petrels on islands declared Special Protection Areas for Birds (SPA) in Murcia by these species.
Project is currently developing the "Bird Study and Improvement of Procellariiformes in the Region of Murcia", by the Ministry of Agriculture and Water in the Region of Murcia.
This project is funded by the Foundation for Biodiversity, Ministry of Environment and Rural and Marine Affairs, and this talk is part of its information and public disclosure
The talk will be given by Manuel Cremades Garcia, a biologist and technician in the Directorate General of Natural Heritage and Biodiversity.
Manuel has worked with seabirds in the LIFE project "Conservation of Larus audouinii in Spain. Grosa Island. Murcia."
and the project "Study and improvement of Procellariiformes birds in the Region of Murcia."
