Mayor Pilar Barreiro, accompanied by the Director General of Sports, Antonio Penalver, and the Councillor for Sports, Alonso Gómez López, place on Monday March 2, the first stone of the sports complex that will be built in El Albujón, along with public school Luis Vives, allowing shared use of the Facilities between students and neighbors.
The sports center will be similar to that being built at La Palma, and has a lead time of eight months.
The contract is for 1,059,000 euros, finaciado by the Autonomous Community and the city of Cartagena in the Sports Facilities Plan.
The ceremony of laying the first stone will be at 12 am in the street The Hermitage, near the public school Luis Vives, El Albujón.
