Yesterday took place the First Committee of Microcredit, for the year 2009, project under the microcredit program between the city of Cartagena and the CAM.
It aims to support self-employment projects for vulnerable groups and would not have access to funding through the usual channels because they lack collateral or credit history, thereby enhancing project management work for themselves that they assume a way of living.
The Commission is made up of a youth coach, a technician of the Department of Women, a social services technician and two technicians from the Agency of Local Development and Employment.
These technicians are responsible for assessing projects submitted.
At the First Committee is also invited technical CAM Social Work to participate in the study jointly the feasibility of the project.
In this first meeting were presented for review to the Commission three business projects.
These projects have been a sailing school and sports activities, wholesale and retail pet and a catering business.
After studying the economic viability of both the experience, which is essential for the consolidation of the project, submit the proposal to the Governing Board with a report.
The characteristics of this micro-credit program are:
Beneficiaries: Microenterprises or individuals, with preference those which fall within the following population groups: over 45 years.
Parent households.
Immigrants.
Women.
Disabled.
Long-term unemployed.
Terms of Microcredit:
- Amount financed: 95% of the investment to be made with a maximum of 25,000 euros.
- Time: Up to 7 years, no grace.
Up to 7 years, including 6-month grace of principal.
- Interest: Interest rate: Fixed Euribor 1 year on the last day of the calendar quarter preceding the formalization, plus 2 points.
- Payment: Fees comprehensive monthly fixed principal and interest.
- Commissions: Open and study: 0% Commission inamortización: 0 Euros.
Early repayment: 0%
- Security: No collateral
