The Youth Council of Cartagena, on the occasion of 30 anniversary of the Spanish Constitution in the morning gave a talk yesterday at the IES Spartaria Carthago, de la Palma, following the scheduling of your campaign, 'All for One'.
In this talk involved as lecturers Colao Pedro Marin, Professor of Tax Law at the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, Manuel Soler, president of the Youth Council of Cartagena and Esperanza Pérez-Crespo, Spanish first sailor to cross the Atlantic alone.
To nearly a hundred students, the president of Youth Council of Cartagena opened the lecture-with a brief presentation of the speakers and the changes in our society after the 1978 Constitution.
For his part, Pedro Marin Colao made a brief historical overview of the changes in Spain and what it entailed the adoption of the Constitution by the Spanish people.
The intervention of the sailor, Esperanza Pérez-Crespo focused on the development of sport in Spain, reaching its highest point of the hand of Juan Antonio Samaranch, president of the IOC (International Olympic Committee) and the success of the Olympiad Barcelona 92, both in participation and in production of Olympic medals.
In the ample opportunity for questions, current issues were raised today as gender violence, in full compliance convictions and whether it would be necessary to amend the Constitution.
