Fifteen students received diplomas last Thursday accrediting the course "Basic Electricity" which, for the group of Ecuadorian immigrants from the area of Canar in Ecuador and included in the proceedings of Murcia Cañar Co-development Programme has been organized from the Program Immigration and Development Cooperation of the Municipal Institute of Social Services in collaboration with the Centro San Juan Bosco Salesians of Cartagena.
The course has a duration of 100 hours of theoretical and practical classes taught by teachers of Centro San Juan Bosco Salesians, and a module of 6 hours of orientation given by a technical work of the Agency of Local Development and Employment of the City of Cartagena .
The event was attended by Councillor Social Care, Antonio Calderon, the Immigration Program Coordinator, Lucia Hernandez, the Director of Centro San Juan Bosco, Candido Orduna, and the Technical Adviser of the Directorate General of Immigration Antonio García Nieto, who were being issued to each of the participating students and diplomas certificates attesting to their training.
The aim of the course is to provide students with basic knowledge about electricity and electrical assemblies, so that the training is useful for an expected return to their country of origin.
