The Youth Council of Cartagena and Red Cross Youth have organized the campaign "If you drive, Yield Glass', an initiative that has managed to unite governments, associations and businesses with a common goal: to raise awareness among young people from danger involving driving under the influence of alcohol, as stated by the president of Youth Council, Manuel Soler.
For this purpose, fifty people will be this Saturday night, Saturday of Carnival, in the stadium concourse Cartagonova from 11 pm to 4 am, to show and demonstrate to young people the most traumatic effects of the combination alcohol and the road.
The direct actions of the campaign are distributed in seven different areas.
The first one shows a car damaged, around which there will be a simulated accident, involving Red Cross volunteers, which will release the protocol to follow in an emergency situation, the following three areas will Agents involved in the association of the Night, which carried photographs of young people who come to the tent set up for this purpose; to checks and alcohol symbolic alcohol drill, where young people can get glasses 'special' and will have to overcome obstacles.
In the fourth space will be installed rollover simulation in which participants can experience firsthand the sense of turning 360 degrees, and subsequent tests of balance and there will be a closed circuit driving skills.

In this campaign organized by the Youth Council and the Red Cross participates Cartagena Cartagena City Council, the Special Committee on Security and Justice of the Regional Assembly, Driving San Nicolas, Mapfre Seguros, Automobile Federation of the Murcia Region and City Agents of the Night Manager.
