The City of Cartagena has added to its fleet two new vehicles to facilitate the collection of municipal waste, known as mobile recycling centers, which were delivered in January by the Ministry of Agriculture and Water, through the Directorate General of Planning Assessment and Environmental Control, which have been officially presented today by Deputy Mayor, Agustín Guillén, Public Roads Councilman, Enrique Pérez Abellán, alderman and Sustainable Development, Isaiah Camarzana.
These vehicles are now three, acting in the municipality, and in addition to the first mobile recycling center, which was launched in July 2008, as environmental infrastructure complementary to the Green Points Fixed or currently operating Ecoparks in the municipality of Cartagena: La Asomada and in the valley.
The addition of two new mobile recycling centers will lead to a marked improvement in service since the three vehicles with the residents of the neighborhoods and the counties will have an EcoPark to your door.
So far the only existing mobile point covered 12 districts a week, completing a route of 24, every two weeks.
With the three current vehicles will tour 36 districts and county weekly, Monday through Saturday, with fixed days and hours in each of them.
WIDE ACCEPTANCE OF MOBILE ITEMS
